Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective July 6, 2026
The short version
beetle has a free plan you can use without paying. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If a paid plan isn't working for you, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it.
Free plan
The free plan is free. No card is required and there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time.
Paid plans & billing
Paid plans (currently beetle Pro at $12/month) are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Applicable taxes are handled at checkout.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from your account settings or by emailing us. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you are not charged again after that. We do not automatically refund the unused part of a period you already paid for (see refunds below).
Refunds
If you are on a paid plan and it isn't right for you, email kartikay@trybeetle.com within 7 days of the charge and we will refund that payment in full, no hassle. After 7 days we generally don't refund a period already underway, but you keep access until it ends and won't be billed again once you cancel.
We always refund charges that are clearly wrong — a duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled. If you think you were billed in error, email us and we'll fix it.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Dodo Payments. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a few business days to appear.
